Campsite Set-Up - The committee will be there at 6 a.m. getting the venue ready for the walk. Feel free to get there as early as 6 a.m. to set up your tents and decorate your campsite so you're ready for opening ceremonies at 9 a.m.
Registration - Opens at 8am. Please check in at registration, even if you registered online. We need to check you in and give you a wristband and if you raised a $100 you receive your commemorative t-shirt there as well.
Walkers - Please call or email us at 818.865.8563 or info@AnEmpoweredWoman.com and let us know what time and for how long you can walk. It's important that we have someone on the tract at all times, so if it's just one hour or five anytime between 9am on Saturday to 9am on Sunday your time and participation will be appreciated. Feel free to bring your children, family and friends. There will be plenty of food, drinks, entertainment and fun and the networking will be awesome.
Parking - Complimentary parking is provided in Lot 11, which is directly west of City Hall. The entrance to Lot 11 is on Broadway, just north of 1st Street (which is also known as Tom Bradley Blvd. in spots, so don't be confused by that). Let the parking attendant know you are part of Relay.
Survivors - Please check in at the Survivor Tent to register and receive your special purple t-shirt and goody bag. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and there will be special presentations for you and your friends to take part in through out the day.
Campsite Decorating Contest – don’t forget, all team members will be walking around voting for which team has the best decorated campsite. Voting slips and box to place your votes will be at the registration table. The team captain of the winning campsite will win a special prize (we want to keep it a surprise but we promise it will be good!)
